What leader will lead the inner cities out of darkness? Create jobs. Improve schools. Build sports and recreation complexes. Inspire the youth of these areas. Create a new generation of youth who believe in making the best choices for themselves and their communities. The present leaders are not leading. They are leaving the inner cities to rot and fester while adding a few small programs of change which are not great enough.

Hi, you visited my blog and commented about the speech therapy. It is because my children don't talk as well - and I spend time with them and talk to them all the time. Since my kids never see me paint - and my studio is separate from the house, I doubt it has anything to do with varnish, paint or other such fumes. Actually it seems to be a genetic thing since all 3 of them need it. It also looks to be from my father's side - who happens to be from the UK. Imagine that?
Now that is my side - I have no idea about the others who commented.
Hi Kim.
Interesting, the genetic link. It IS a complex science, who we have kids with and how the genes interact going back generations. I have always had attention deficit as well, which was actually useful when humans were hunter gatherers. Shepherds would spend long hours alone, even days or weeks, so that would eventually turn genetic, so I think you are on to something. - As far as fumes go, my father used quite a bit of paints and varnishes in the 60s and 70s and Auto Body fumes and such do not necessarily get scrubbed before being released into urban air. Water systems also can carry such toxins as can things like beef from massive farms. I really so not obsess about it, but I have researched it out of scientific fascination.
